Flood Risk Management Committee Community Representative EOI

Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from the community for representation on the Flood Risk Management Committee (FRMC).

The committee requires three (3) community representatives.

The purpose of the FRMC is to provide advice to Council on matters relating to floodplain risk management, including guiding discussion on technical, social, economic, environmental and cultural flood issues and fulfilling an advisory role in assisting Council with the development and implementation of a flood risk management study and plan.

The committee meetings are held periodically as required by the Flood Risk Management Study and Plan project and reports directly to Council. The committee comprises a total of seven (7) voting members and non-voting members involving Council senior staff and state agency representatives.
