The Oxley Highway will be closed for six days, between Knodingbul and Forbes River roads, starting from 7am Tuesday 19 July to 5pm Sunday 24 July, weather permitting.
The essential work is part of the continuing major restoration of the Oxley Highway at Mount Seaview to reinstate the road to pre-2021 flood condition. We need to remove a significant amount of landslide debris from a landslip site before it deteriorates. To do this safely we need to close the road.
Plan an alternative route via Waterfall Way or New England Highway if your trip must take place during the closure period.
