Yarra City Council
Council has appointed Yellow Resource Group to deliver the Annettes Place playground upgrade which will include a more accessible, inclusive and nature-based play experience.
The $530,000 project will enhance the playground’s natural setting while creating a welcoming and accessible space for children of all ages and abilities, including:
A separate play structure for older and younger children
An accessible carousel
Accessible basket swing
21 new trees
More than 400 new plantings
New bike hoops
More clearly defined areas for dog walking.
Works are expected to commence in January 2027 and be completed by April 2027, weather permitting.
