Funding available for Senior’s Festival events

Every October the Victorian Seniors Festival returns with events across the state. Here on the Peninsula, we have already started planning and are looking forward to a jam-packed month full of events that celebrate this year’s theme: Learn, Love, Live.

Here on the Peninsula, we’re lucky to have many community groups, clubs, men’s sheds and other organisations that enrich the lives of community members aged 60+. We would like to invite these groups and organisations to organise their own events to complement our Seniors Festival.

We will provide support by offering up to $300 reimbursement to be used for expenses related to community-organised Seniors Festival activities.

Your event will also be promoted in our brochure, which we will print and distribute widely in our region.

If this sounds like something your community organisation would like to take part in, please submit your expression of interest by Sunday 14 May 2023.
