Five people have now been charged as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged cocaine supply syndicate operating across Sydney.
As part of ongoing investigations, detectives from Bankstown Police Area Command established Strike Force Polar to target the manufacture and supply of prohibited drugs throughout the local area.
Last week, three men – aged 22, 25 and 26 – were arrested and charged. They remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, a 20-year-old man was arrested on Glassop Street, Yagoona, about 9am yesterday (Wednesday 21 October 2020).
He was taken to Bankstown Police Station and charged with two counts of knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, two counts of supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and two counts of supply prohibited drug.
The Yagoona man was refused bail and appeared before Bankstown Local Court today (Thursday 22 October 2020), where he was formally refused bail to reappear before the same court on Thursday 17 December 2020.
About 11am today, strike force investigators arrested a 30-year-old woman at Bankstown Police Station.
She was charged with three counts of knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supply prohibited drug and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The woman was refused bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court today.
