A man living with down syndrome has been found safe and well, after going missing from Bankstown today.
The 41-year-old was last seen at an address on Myrtle Road, Bankstown, about 1pm today (Sunday 9 April 2023).
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified of his disappearance and begun inquiries to locate the man.
Following a geo-target SMS alert, a member of the public recognised the man in Kingsgrove and notified police, waiting with him until their arrival.
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
