There’s just one sleep to go until the third annual Darwin International Laksa Festival finale.
Festival Day will take place from 3pm tomorrow at Festival Park, on the lawns in front of Parliament House.
14 vendors will turn out with their laksa and laksa-inspired dishes and drinks for Territorians and tourists to enjoy.
Throughout the month of November, Territorians have enjoyed thousands of litres worth of laksa, more than 3,000 dishes and drinks have been purchased, and laksa lovers have voted for over 1,000 dishes.
The Darwin International Laksa Festival celebrates the Territory’s love of all things laksa, whilst also supporting jobs and driving foot traffic in the traditionally quiet period.
The free family-friendly event will also include cooking demonstrations, activities for kids and music to culminate the month-long festival.
People attending Festival Day will also have the chance to win a full day fishing charter for up to eight people with YNOT, and a night’s accommodation at YNOT Getaway Dundee Beach for up to 20 guests.
