Gidgegannup serious crash 2 April

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Gidgegannup on Saturday, 26 March 2022.

About 4.30pm, a white Toyota Crown sedan was travelling north-east along Toodyay Road when near the intersection of Reen Road, the vehicle left the road and struck some trees before rolling over.

A 20-year-old woman who was a rear passenger, was thrown from the vehicle and received serious injuries. She was airlifted by the RAC rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver and two other passengers received minor injuries in the crash.
