Police from Caulfield Divisional Tasking Unit arrested and charged a man after executing a warrant in Glen Huntly today.
Officers attended an address in Wattle Avenue as part of Operation Nitrous.
The premises was searched and it is alleged police found a loaded firearm, a conducted energy device, drugs and cash.
A 57-year-old Glen Huntly man was arrested at the address and interviewed by police.
He has been charged with possess commercial quantity of a drug of dependence and weapons offences.
He is expected to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.
