For one night only Newport-based business, Adventure Entertainment, will be screening the ski and snowboard adventure film Winter Starts Now at Glen Street Theatre as part of the annual Warren Miller Snow Film Tour on Thursday 2 June.
Adventure Entertainment was founded by Toby Ryston-Pratt in 2016 and has grown into a global digital media business specialising in the distribution of films, publishing magazines, and running a host of digital assets including their own streaming platform likened to a “Netflix of adventure”, called ADVENTURE+.
Ryston-Pratt is a long-time member of Manly Life Saving Club and re-located the business to Newport in 2020 when COVD-19 made remote working more possible. “Obviously the Northern Beaches is a beautiful place to live, and it just made sense to move our business here so I can achieve a great work-life balance.”
Winter Starts Now is the 72nd film from Warren Miller Entertainment celebrating all things winter. This stunning ski and snowboarding film chases the US winter from coast to coast leaving you inspired by the spectacular jumps and views from the top.
The screening at Glen Street Theatre is a hosted event with some amazing prize giveaways including the chance to win a $20,000 trip of a lifetime to Canada.
