Goulburn Mulwaree Council
At its meeting held on Tuesday 19 September 2023, Council endorsed The Goulburn Rail Trail Project, and it will now be added to Council’s Priority Projects list.
This will assist with advocating for the necessary funding as it arises.
Given the magnitude of this project, the Goulburn Rail Trail will require substantial financial and human resources. At present, the council isn’t equipped to construct, manage, and maintain such a large-scale Asset. The Goulburn Rail Trail Steering committee will be held in abeyance until such time as further involvement in development of the project is required.
Council thanks the members of the committee for their contributions to this project.
