Grant Round Results For Blended Payment Co-design

The Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the Hon Bill Shorten MP, has announced the results for the blended payment co-design grants.

The co-design grant is part of the blended payments initiative and broader Scheme reform.

This initiative will design and test payment models that increase providers’ incentive to innovate service delivery and achieve improved outcomes for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.

We are working with the Department of Social Services (DSS) to deliver the project.

Two grant packages were offered to registered NDIS providers with the following focus areas:

  • Grant package 1: Providers of employment support for school leavers
  • Grant package 2: Providers of supported independent living (SIL) and those supporting younger people in residential aged care (YPIRAC)

The successful providers will receive grants to participate in the blended payment model co-design activities taking place from September to October 2024.
