Help sought to ID men over aggravated break and enter at Entrance, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate an aggravated break and enter at The Entrance.

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District were called to a home on Hutton Road after two men forced their way into the home about 5.40pm (Sunday 26 April 2020).

Police have been told the men – who were armed with a saw and a knife and had their faces covered – threatened two residents, a 26-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman.

They took a handbag containing cash and credit cards as well as jewellery before running from the house. There have been no reported injuries.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged 45-50, with greyish/thinning hair and blue eyes. The second man is also described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his mid-40s with a medium build about 180cm tall.

Anyone who was in the vicinity of Hutton Road about the time of the break and enter – or who may have seen suspicious activity – is urged to call The Entrance Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
