Police have charged a 42-year-old woman with high range drink driving after she was caught more than four times the limit in Hillwood yesterday afternoon.
A member of a public notified police that the woman was intoxicated and driving south on the West Tamar Highway about 3:30pm.
Officers from Exeter and George Town attended and intercepted the woman a short time later.
She was breath tested and returned a reading of 0.216.
The woman was already disqualified from driving due to similar previous offences.
She will appear in court at a later date.
