Hilton fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Hilton last night, Friday 5 August 2022.

About 7.15pm, a gold coloured Holden Commodore VF sedan and a silver Toyota Hilux utility were travelling along South Street approaching Stock Road when they collided. The Commodore continued on, striking a large sign and a nearby building.

The 50-year-old male driver of the Commodore and the sole occupant, received critical injuries in the crash and sadly died at the scene.

The 47-year-old male driver of the Toyota received minor injuries as a result of the crash.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or the Holden Commodore or the Toyota Hilux travelling in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
