Historic photos celebrate Cook Park of yesteryear

Orange Council

The history of Orange’s Cook Park is being celebrated in the lead-up to its 150th anniversary.

A series of historical photographs have been placed around the heritage-listed park to highlight how it has changed over the years. Take a wander through the park and enjoy an insight into the Cook Park of yesteryear.

NOW AND THEN: The rose garden at Cook Park.

Orange City Council is encouraging members of the community to share their photos, memories and stories in the lead up to the anniversary. The material will be added to the Recollect Central West website, an online collection of heritage material relating to the people, places and events of the Central West.
