Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an investigation into a hit and run traffic incident in Moorooka this afternoon, 31 July.
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 5.10pm, a small white hatchback heading East along the intersection of Ipswich Road and Gow Street, struck a motorcycle heading north. The vehicle failed to stop and continued east on Gow Street towards Beaudesert Road.
The motorcyclist was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are appealing to the driver of the vehicle to come forward.
