We recently said goodbye to Maam-yok (Aunty) Theresa Walley, a founding member of our Elders Advisory Group.
The wisdom, peace, grace and love of Aunty is so beautifully captured in the below photo from the City of Perth’s Moorditj Bridyas exhibition.
Aunty Theresa was so generous and patient in sharing her culture with the City and we are forever grateful for this.
Tonight, Council House will be lit up in the colours of the Aboriginal flag.
Tomorrow (12 August), on the day of the funeral, the flags will be lowered to half-mast.
