Hotel robbery – Kensington, South Australia

Police are investigating a hotel robbery at Kensington overnight where a man threatened staff and stole cash.

Just after 1.30am on Thursday 21 January, a man wearing a hooded top and dark clothing entered the gaming room of the Britannia Hotel on Kensington Road, produced a bag and demanded money from staff.

He fled on foot shortly after with an amount of cash, last seen heading north through the hotel car-park which fronts Fullarton Road.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian appearance, 184 cms tall, with muscular build, wearing a black hoodie, shoes and jeans, socks on his hands and wearing a white bandana around his neck.

There were no physical injuries in the ordeal.
