APPEA has released its annunal Key Statistics document. Key Statistics 2021 highlights key trends and themes for the Australian and international oil and gas sector.
The statistics, covering the period from 2018-19, show that oil and gas still represent the primary source of energy use in Australia, with oil accounting for 38.8% and natural gas 25.7% of national energy use respectively.
The statistics also cover prices, state and territory production of oil and natural gas, economic contribution to trade and taxation, industry investment, and more.
