An investigation is underway after a man was found with critical head injuries in Sydney’s south-west overnight.
About 9.40pm today (Friday 14 February 2020), emergency services were called to Goulburn Place, Wakeley, following reports of an assault.
Police from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and found a 28-year-old man suffering from head injuries.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital; he is reported to be in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway.
