The QPS Dog Squad is proud to announce the arrival of their latest litter of crime-fighters, the S Litter.
Play time for the S Litter
Now eight-weeks-old, the S Litter have been bestowed their names and are getting ready to meet their foster carers who they will spend the next 12-18 months with, learning vital socialisation skills.
This litter is made up of five boys and three girls:
- Stryker;
- Shredder;
- Sniper;
- Solo; and
- Skid for the boys;
- Stellar;
- Sasha; and
- Star for the girls.
Although it’s all fun and play time now, these curious pups will soon begin their journey towards becoming general purpose police dogs for the QPS.
Whilst they spend time with their foster carers learning vital socialisation skills, they will begin their police dog training by coming back to the Dog Squad three days a month.
For now though, they are finding their feet and learning their vocal range.
