As a result of a joint investigation by the Devonport and Northern Criminal Investigation Branches, detectives have charged a 37-year-old Invermay man with 22 counts of burglary, 6 counts of stealing and 1 count of unlawfully set fire to property.
The charges relate to a spate of business burglaries committed between Devonport and Launceston over the past 6 weeks.
The man has been charged and bailed to appear at the Launceston Magistrates Court on 5 October 2022.
