Police are investigating a fatal collision in Jarklin this afternoon.
It is believed a Holden sedan has veered onto the wrong side of the Loddon Valley Highway just after 1pm.
The sedan has struck a Holden station wagon travelling in the other direction.
The female driver of the sedan died at the scene, the male driver of the station wagon was treated for minor injuries.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined at this stage.
