After a shocking two weeks misleading and making things up in the Tasmanian Parliament, lazy Labor have once again being caught red handed misleading Tasmanians in a desperate attempt at relevance.
It is clear that Labor’s only priority is playing politics and spreading fear, instead of supporting Tasmanians throughout the pandemic as the Tasmanian Government has done since it began.
The fact remains that the COVID community care centre in Devonport is under contract, and available for use immediately if needed. In fact it could be used this afternoon if necessary.
Due to the mild nature of omicron and our high vaccination rates, we have not yet needed to use the facility as positive cases are choosing to isolate in their own homes.
Labor would know this if they bothered to read Government media releases correctly, instead of twisting the words to suit their own negative agenda.
Anita Dow should apologise for her reckless fearmongering. Enough is enough. Tasmanians deserve better from their Opposition which has nothing to offer but negativity.
