There is no greater lie in Labor’s policy platform than their claim to support Tasmania’s forestry industry.
Tasmanians will never forget that Labor, captive to the Greens, took a wrecking ball to our forestry industry resulting in thousands of job losses, especially in our regional areas.
And Labor have clearly not learnt their lesson, with Rebecca White herself admitting she has no regrets over the disastrous job-destroying forestry deal with the Greens- despite it decimating forestry jobs in her own electorate of Lyons.
Unlike Labor, the Hodgman majority Liberal Government will always back our forestry industry to the hilt and there is no doubt our forest industry is growing in strength and confidence thanks to our job-creating policies.
The evidence is clear – Labor simply cannot be trusted on forestry, and they will do another deal with the Greens given half a chance.
