Live and Local returns to MidCoast Libraries

After the wild success of Live and Local in 2022, Sydney Writers’ Festival returns to MidCoast Libraries in 2023 to bring the best of the Festival direct to you.

Sydney Writers’ Festival is one of Australia’s most loved forums for literature, ideas and storytelling. The Festival will live-stream its headline events from Sydney to MidCoast Libraries between 25 – 28 May.

Prepare to be stimulated and engaged by conversations, debates and discussions featuring some of the world’s finest writers and thinkers including Jane Harper, Geraldine Brooks, Richard Fidler, George Monbiot and more.

Audiences can also take part in live Question and Answer sessions at each event, sending questions straight to the Sydney stage.

Thursday 25 May – Wingham Library

Friday 26 May and Saturday 27 May – Taree Library

Sunday 28 May – Forster Library

Live and Local 2023, streamed live by the annual Sydney Writers’ Festival is a free event, supported by NSW Government and City of Sydney.
