A 25-year-old man has been charged with a burnout following an investigation by Strike Force Puma.
About 4pm on Monday (1 June 2020), the driver of a white Toyota Chaser sedan allegedly conducted a burnout, where the driver maintained a sustained loss of traction on Shaw Road, Ingleburn.
After a video was posted on social media, officers from Strike Force Puma commenced an investigation.
About 9.00am on Friday 5 June 2020, officers spoke to the driver, a 25-year-old man, at a Northmead home.
The man was issued a Court Attendance Notice for committing a burnout and will appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday 4 August 2020.
His driver’s licence was also suspended and confiscated.
Strike Force Puma was formed 2018 to target drivers with a history of licence offences and a repeated history of drink and drug driving offences, and drivers with extreme and erratic behaviours.
