Police have charged a 49-year-old man with firearm and drug offences following a search at Brighton yesterday.
Around 3pm police conducted a search of a residence and surrounding area and recovered firearms, ammunition and drug related paraphernalia.
Several firearms and parts including long arms and a pistol were recovered and investigations are continuing into their origin.
The man was arrested at the search location without incident and has been subsequently detained to appear in court later today.
