Man dies after four-vehicle crash at Wisemans Ferry

A man has died following a four-vehicle crash in Wisemans Ferry.

About 10.40am on Tuesday 6 February 2024, emergency services were called to Peats Ridge Road, Wisemans Ferry, following reports three trucks and a ute had been involved in a crash.

A 29-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition, a 35-year-old man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition, and a 44-year-old man was taken to Gosford hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A 27-year-old man was not injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District established a crime scene which was forensically examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.

The 29-year-old man remained in hospital until he died about 8.25pm on Saturday 10 February 2024.

A report has been prepared for the information of the Coroner.
