Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal unit fire which occurred in Braybrook on Sunday night.
Emergency services were called to South Road just after 10.30pm following reports that a residential property was on fire.
As firefighters extinguished the blaze an unconscious man was located near a back door.
Firefighters and paramedics worked on the man, but he could not be revived and died at the scene,
An arson chemist will attend the scene later this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
