Man in court after stabbing in Sadlier

A man is due to appear in court today after an alleged domestic violence-related stabbing in Sydney’s south-west this morning.

Emergency services were called to Gabo Crescent, Sadleir, just after 1am (Friday 23 October 2020), and found a 36-year-old man with a stab wound to his abdomen.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and arrested a 46-year-old man at the home.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he has now been charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He has been refused bail to appear in Liverpool Local Court today.

A knife was seized at the scene and will undergo forensic examination.

Both men live at the home.
