Police have arrested a man following an incident in Campbellfield last night (10 March) which has left a man in critical condition.
It is alleged the victim, a 20-year-old Campbellfield man, was sitting on the tray cover of a white Commodore ute travelling south on Cambridge Way before falling from the vehicle about 6.00pm.
He sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the ute, a 19-year-old Broadmeadows man, was uninjured.
He is currently in custody and assisting police with their enquiries.
