A man has been killed following a workplace incident at a mine site in the state’s south-west overnight.
Police have been told that about 5.15pm yesterday (Monday 12 August 2019), a 47-year-old man was killed when a collision occurred between a bulldozer and a light vehicle at a mine site near Pooncarie.
Emergency services were notified and attended the scene immediately.
Officers attached to Barrier Police District established a crime scene and were assisted by Broken Hill Crime Scene.
Investigations continue.
