Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Martin today, Wednesday 14 December 2022.
About 10.45 am, a Toyota Yaris driving west on Canning Mills Road and a BMW Motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction were involved in a collision.
The 36-year-old male rider of the motorcycle died at the scene. The 27-year-old female driver of the Toyota Yaris was conveyed to hospital.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at
