Daniel Andrews needs to get Victorian students back to school

Students in metropolitan Melbourne have been left behind as most rural and regional students are set to return to school day 1 of Term 4.

The Liberal Nationals have called for the urgent return of on-site learning for all schools throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria for Term 4.

While Daniel Andrews has takenthe Liberal Nationals advice and has moved to get rural and regional students back to face to face learning,Labor is still failing children in metropolitan Melbourne.

Now is a safe and practical time for students to return to the classroom with the appropriate safeguards.

New South Wales has managed low case numbers whilst keeping children at school.

TheAndrews Labor Government needs to follow New South Wales’ lead and safely and get our children back to school.

As stated by Shadow Minister for Education, Cindy McLeish:

“Daniel Andrews is once again failing Victorian students and their families. We need to get our kids back into the classroom.

“Our young people are the ones who will suffer the most due to Daniel Andrews’ cruel decision to not get our kids back to school.”
