The Tokyo Tech community would like to offer its deepest condolences to all those affected by the powerful earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula and other regions in central Honshu on January 1, 2024.
The Institute has conducted various educational and research activities for many years to advance fields such as earthquake studies and earthquake engineering, and we will do our utmost to provide support in the aftermath of this disaster.
Our thoughts are with the victims of this tragic event and the families who mourn the loss of their loved ones. We continue to pray for the speedy recovery of the stricken areas and the safety of all those concerned.
