Armed Crime Squad detectives continue to investigate an armed robbery at a licenced premises in Mulgrave last year.
It is alleged two men, both armed with firearms, attended the Police Road gaming venue shortly before 6.30pm on 2 March 2018.
The men demanded and obtained an amount of cash before being chased out by patrons into a nearby car park, where a shot was fired into the roof.
It is believed the men fled with the assistance of a third unknown offender who was waiting in a vehicle.
One person was assaulted during the alleged incident and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
On 6 September this year, Armed Crime Squad detective arrested 44-year-old Endeavour Hills man in Springvale.
He was charged with armed robbery and conduct endangering life.
The second and third offenders remain outstanding and detectives are appealing for anyone with information on the second man’s identity to contact police.
