Multiple Injured After Two Buses Collide – Campsie

Police continue to investigate following a two-bus crash in Sydney’s southwest yesterday.

About 4.20pm (Wednesday 20 March 2024), emergency services were called to Seventh Avenue, Campsie, following reports two buses had collided.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command were told the two buses were travelling westbound along Seventh Avenue, when one of the buses has collided into the rear of the other – causing it to crash into three parked cars.

The driver of one of the buses – a 63-year-old woman – sustained serious injuries. She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the other bus – a 63-year-old man – sustained minor injuries. He was taken to Concord Hospital in a stable condition.

25 passengers were assessed and treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene, with 12 passengers taken to Concord, Bankstown and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
