From Monday 1 November 2021, international travellers can arrive in New South Wales and Victoria without completing 14 days quarantine in those jurisdictions.
An international traveller who arrives in New South Wales and Victoria, cannot enter South Australia without restrictions.
Currently, international travellers are subject to Level 5 requirements:
- COVID-19 test on day 1, 5, and 13.
- Quarantine for 14 days (as directed)
- Must wear a face mask at any time that they come into contact with the public for a period of 14 days after their arrival in South Australia.
If an international traveller has spent any time in New South Wales or Victoria prior to entering South Australia, they are prohibited from entering South Australia but may apply to SA Health for an exemption.
An international arrival who arrives at Sydney airport and then transits to Adelaide without leaving the airport is subject to Level 5 requirements.
A reminder that all travellers coming to South Australia must complete a Cross Border Travel Registration, irrespective of where they are travelling from.
