This multicultural awards program recognises and celebrates the outstanding work of individuals promoting social cohesion and unity during challenging times.

Nomination categories include:

  • Youth
  • Business
  • Arts and culture, and
  • Regional communities.

Multiculturalism Minister Natalie Ward said the event is NSW’s chance to acknowledge the everyday multicultural heroes who are relied upon to support NSW communities.

“2021 has been another incredibly challenging year and our community and religious leaders have played a crucial role in delivering vital health information to help keep us safe,” Mrs Ward said.

“Countless individuals and organisations have stepped up across all backgrounds to help vulnerable people experiencing extreme hardship and to keep us connected.”

Inductees will be announced and presented at the Premier’s Harmony Dinner in March 2022. Nominations close 26 November 2021.
