Northam Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a car fire that occurred on Wellington Street in Northam on Sunday, 22 November 2020.
About 11.45pm, an unknown offender set fire to a Mitsubishi Lancer couple that was parked in the carport of the home. The fire spread from the car to the roof of the carport. Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended and extinguished the fire before any structural damage was done to the carport.
The fire caused an estimated $10,000 damage to the car and carport.
Northam Detectives urge anyone who can identify the person pictured, or who has any information regarding this fire, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. People providing information to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous if they wish.
Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
