NSW police appeal after man found with head injuries in Kirribilli earlier this year

Police are investigating the circumstances after a man was found suffering head injuries in Kirribilli last January.

About 4:10am on Friday 24 January 2020, police and emergency services were called to Broughton Street Kirribilli, where they found a man lying on the road suffering serious injuries after an apparent fall from his bicycle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 66-year-old man at the scene before taking him to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

An investigation continues into the circumstances of the incident, and police are appealing for motorists who may have been in the area around the time of the incident – particularly those who have dash cam vision – to contact investigators. Police are especially keen to hear from taxi drivers and garbage truck operators who were in the area at the time. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chatswood Police Station on
