NSW police appeal after robbery of mixed business at Auburn

An investigation is underway following the robbery of a mixed business store in Auburn yesterday.

Police have been told about 9pm (Sunday 20 October 2019), three males entered the store on Northumberland Road and demanded money from the employee.

One man opened the cash register and took cash, while another attempted to take the employees mobile phone without success. The trio fled the scene with the cash.

No injuries were reported.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command attended, established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

The three males are described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in their early 20s and between 165cm to 170cm tall.

One male was wearing all black with his face covered and the other two were wearing t-shirts and shorts.
