NSW police charge man after investigations into south coast drug supply syndicate

A man will face court today charged following investigations into an alleged South Coast drug supply syndicate.

In May, investigators from Strike Force Raptor South and South Coast Police District established Strike Force Adnamira to investigate the manufacture and supply of methylamphetamine across the South Coast region.

Following extensive inquiries, strike force officers executed a search warrant at a home at Culburra Beach about 7am today (Friday 23 August 2019).

During the search, officers located methylamphetamine, mobile phones, cash, computer devices, and drug paraphernalia.

A 49-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Nowra Police Station.

He was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug (greater than indictable quantity), two counts of deal with property proceeds of crime, participate in criminal group and resist arrest.

The man was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court today (Friday 23 August 2019).

Investigations under Strike Force Adnamira are continuing.
