NSW police charge three people with drug related offences in Shoal Bay

Three people have been charged following ongoing investigations into the alleged supply of drugs in Shoal Bay under Strike Force Goondi.

Strike Force Goondi was established by officers attached to Port Stephens-Hunter Police District in February 2022 to investigate the alleged drug supply at a licenced premises on Shoal Bay Road.

Following extensive investigations, about 8.30am on Thursday 14 July 2022 – two men both aged 42, and a 32-year-old woman – were arrested at Nelson Bay Police Station.

One of the 42-year-old men was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug (cocaine), the other 42-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were each charged with one count of supply prohibited drug (cocaine).

They were granted strict conditional bail to appear before Raymond Terrace Local Court on Monday 8 August 2022.
