NSW police investigate stolen firearms at Oaks

Police are appealing for public assistance after firearms were stolen during a break and enter in Sydney’s southwest earlier this month.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command commenced an investigation today (Sunday 26 June 2022), after being notified that several firearms had been stolen from a property on Burragorang Road, The Oaks – 20km west of Camden.

Initial inquiries suggest entry was forced into home via the kitchen on the afternoon of Monday 13 June 2022.

Four firearms – including two shotguns and two rifles – are believed to have been stolen from a firearm safe.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident is underway.
