NSW police lay charges over alleged acts of indecency on train in Sydney’s south

A man has been charged over allegedly committing acts of indecency on a train in Sydney’s south last year.

Just before midnight on Friday 23 November 2018, police will allege a man, while travelling on a train between Green Square and Wolli Creek, allegedly committed an act of indecency.

Police will allege in court that the man then moved to an upstairs carriage and sat next to a woman, before he committed another act of indecency.

Officers from the Police Transport Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

Following extensive inquiries, officers arrested a 52-year-old man at a home in Mt Annan about 7.45pm yesterday (Thursday 7 March 2019).

He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of commit act of indecency with person 16 years or over, and two counts of wilful and obscene exposure in/near public place/school.

The man was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Monday 1 April 2019.

Inquiries are continuing.
