A man has been charged following an alleged sexual touching on George Street in Sydney last week.
Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were contacted after a 23-year-old woman reported was approached by an unknown man and allegedly sexually touched about 5pm last Thursday (21 November 2019).
Officers from Sydney City Police Area commenced an investigation into the incident and, following a public appeal for information, a man attended Day Street Police Station about 9.30pm yesterday (Saturday 23 November 2019).
The 35-year-old man, from Lidcombe, has now been charged with sexually touch another person without consent.
He’s been granted strict conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 15 January 2020.
