NSW police responding to fatal single-vehicle crash at Glenorie

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s north today.

About 8.30am (Sunday 1 May 2022), emergency services were called to the intersection of Cattai Ridge Road and Smith Lane, Glenorie, following reports a 1956 vintage Daimler Conquest had left the roadway and struck a tree.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and rendered aid to the driver.

The driver – a 75-year-old man – died on route to hospital.

A crime scene was established with an investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
